Easily the third most important flavour in the world after Vanilla and Citrus is mint. Mint is grown in abundance in the fertile soil of the Terai region in Uttar Pradesh in India. Mint oil (Both Peppermint and spearmint oils) is derived from the plants of Genus Mentha, by the steam distillation process. Spearmint oil is extracted from Mentha Spicata plant. Whereas peppermint oil includes crude and processed oils obtained from any variety of Mentha Piperita and Mentha Arvensis Plants. Mentha Arvensis oil (also known as Cornmint oil) is processed to obtain natural menthol and dementholised peppermint oil.

Menthol powder (flakes) are obtained by the quick chilling of natural Mentha Arvensis oil. Menthol crystals on the other hand require a far longer processing period. India's production being placed at 95% of the world's Mentha Arvensis oil production, this oil and other mint oils are easily procured through our well laid out network of techno-commercial purchase officers, warehouses and offices equipped with gas-liquid chromatography (GLC). Giving us quality mint oils all the year round.
